In this occasion photos of the Asus Radeon R9 285 Strix Edition have been leaked. A graphics card that is considered premium amongst Asus top level and of course it has a personalized design brand.
This new graphics card from Asus has an innovative cooling solution given that this is a hybrid. The fans are off until the GPU reaches a certain temperature and then it begins to function. Therefore, this Asus Radeon R9 285 Strix Edition is considered semi-fanless. The cooling system closely resembles the well-known brand DirectCU II which has a dense block of aluminum with a total of 3 copper nickel plated heat pipes that have direct contact with the HIS of the GPU that helps maximize heat transfer. It also has a black motherboard which is purely aesthetic.
This graphic card will come with Overclock straight from the factory and 2 GB of dedicated RAM GDDR5 memory. We estimate that it will be launched September 2nd at a price of 249 dollars.
