Supposing you are seeking the best gaming laptop under $1000, you should know that according to increasing your cost you can own some really amazing machines from some brands of the best gaming laptop. Now video games have developed into the high level of graphics and because of that the high configurations are collocated into gaming laptops. In contract with standard laptop, you will be astonished with the difference between them.

Plenty of people are fond of playing PC games for many years, and most laptop manufacturer catch this requirement to cater to this factor. So that some pretty neat gaming PC is designed to make some common games have an awesome effect, and make some terrific games look unusually and amazingly remarkable.

However, the high price of the Asus G75SX and the Alienware M18x that are easily the best laptops for playing PC games means that not everyone is able to afford to buy. Therefore in terms of your budget, you can search some gaming laptops that are within your range. You should need to know what you really want in the light of speed, RAM, hard disk space, and what’s more, the graphics card of the machine. As my experience, a gaming laptop at least features intel i5 processor, 4GB ram, and 500GB hard disk, 1G Vram graphic card, so the following five best gaming laptops under 1000 are choosing by my minimum standards.

As long as you know exactly what you are searching, it is easy to find the cheap gaming laptops. You can buy these PC from a lot of resources and maximize the value of your money. As it just was said, let’s look at some probable expectants for the brand of best gaming laptop under 1000 dollars.

My recommend: ASUS ROG GL551JM-DH71

ASUS ROG GL551JM-DH71

The ASUS GL551JM-DH71 has some impressive features which include top of the line hardware and a very thin profile, which is very rare for a gaming laptop. In today’s market, it is one of the best money values available. If your goal is to have a high end gaming laptop at a price that is economical, you will not be disappointed with the DH71.

Hardware Configuration

This laptop utilizes the Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor. This processor is considered by many to be one of the most powerful processors on the market today for laptops. It has hyper-threading enabled in a quad core processor. The clock speed of 2.5 GHz per core and a turbo boost to 3.5 GHz is quite impressive. The basic technology of Turbo boost increases the processor speed to 3.5 GHz during arduous tasks. Under ideal conditions, battery life is conserved with the processor running at 2.5 GHz. You will not have to contend with performance lag because the ASUS GL551JM-DH71 comes with a whopping 16 GB of RAM.

Of course, you want your gaming laptop to have an outstanding graphics card. Fortunately, this notebook comes with one of the best and most recent graphic cards available from NVIDIA; the GeForce GTX 860M with 2GB GDDR5. To give you an indication of the speed and power of this graphics card, it easily supports all of the latest most demanding games, such as Crysis 3, TitanFall, and Watch Dogs, on High-Ultra Graphics. We found frame rates of 40, and with some games, even above 50, which is quite respectable. When set to low graphics, we were impressed to see that it even surpasses 100 FPS.

Unlike some other versions of ROG laptops (some not too old), the ASUS GL551JM-DH71 has a 1 TB of HDD with RPM of 7200, not just a 5400. In the same way that a system benefits from a faster processor, having a faster HDD is also of benefit.

Features

The ASUS GL551JM-DH71 sports red stripes on the black stealth color of the laptop. The IPS screen of this laptop is 15.6 Full HD. The IPS screen assures the best possible viewing angles along with vibrant and rich colors. You will find that this laptop is second to none in design. It boasts of the signature cooling design and a brushed aluminum exterior. The keyboard features a red backlight. Previous versions were all-black and, in comparison, this new design is a welcomed addition.

With a thickness of only 1.30 inches, the ASUS GL551JM-DH71 is extremely slim for a laptop made for gaming. When you take into consideration that several budget and multimedia laptops have a profile design that is 1.30 inches, it is quite remarkable that this gaming laptop has the same thickness; this is quite an accomplishment.

This laptop has a great deal to offer with its WebCam, multi-DVD optical drive, Wi-Fi, SD card reader and other standard interfacing and connectivity options.

Conclusion

If you are in the market for a gaming laptop that will run just about everything you can think of and yet still manages to give you an exceptionally good price, the ASUS GL551JM-DH71 should be your first consideration. It is difficult to find a good multimedia laptop in this price range, so when you find a gaming laptop with all these amenities, it is well worth every penny. In my opinion the ASUS GL551JM-DH71 is an exceptional buy.

Buying advice:

Both the ASUS ROG GL551JM-DH71 and  Lenovo Y50 are my my most recommended, the ASUS DH71 has more better processor (i7-4710HQ) and bigger ram than Y50 (16GB vs 8GB), so it’s price is little more than Y50,  for now,  the price of Asus DH71 is around 1100 dollars, if it’s exceed your budget, you can choose the cheaper Lenovo y50, and it’s performance is almost the same with ASUS ROG GL551JM-DH71.

The ASUS N550JK-DS71T has a touchscreen, which is helpful for use with the Windows 8 system, but its GPU GTX 850M is not as power as the GeForce GT 860M.

The Lenovo Z710 is another great one. It has 16 GB (2 x 8GB) ram, which is enough to run many heavy applications at the same time, but it has the worst graphics card of any of these laptops. If you are not playing demanding games, it will probably suit you well.

Which one can satisfy your needs well? Make your choice!

Hi I was just wondering would this laptop , the Lenovo be capable of running battlefield 4 on high with decent frame rates .

  • Logan Rush

I was wondering if the Acer Aspire will be a good match for the WoW standard and be able to run the graphics on High or Ultra without a big drop in fps or lag return. Have decently fast internet just wanting to make sure that it will render and play well.

  • Katherine

Hi ! i need help can someone recommend me a good laptop? I’m thinking about lenovo or toshiba?

I’ll be using it for architecural purposes.(Sketchup, revit, auto desk and etc…)
(and if possible i could use playing sims3 and all of its expansions.)
    possible budget: $500-$750
    Thank you!

Katherine, I am replying about your comment on buying either a Lenavo or Toshiba… Speaking from experience, i would go with a Lenavo, toshiba is almost unusable. The battery stinks and the computer in general is terrible, AND it is over your budget. Go with a Lenavo

  • Hi , im thinking to buy Acer Aspire V3-772G-9829 , well because it not too expensive. But when i see the ASUS N550JV-DB72T , i see it almost have no different specs with acer except it 15.6 while acer 17.3 inch . So is the size affecting the price of laptop ? And is 17.3 inch is too big ? Just wondering .

    • Darwin

My advice, get the 15.6″. The larger 17.3″ is nice if you don’t have to take it anywhere. It is just too large to be very portable. I bought a 17.3″ a few years ago and now in the market for a smaller, more portable model such as the 15.6″.
Also, the battery life on the larger screens has been poor in my case, lasting no more that 90 minutes between charges!

  • The lenovo ideapad became my interest since last night . But there are few disadvantage of it . When i see some of user review , they said it heat up and has bad cooling system but they never said how long they play until it heat up . And 2 hours battery life eventhough u are not playing games and just surfing the internet .

  • Well , im kinda confused now. Some of other user said the lenovo battery can last 2 hours in game and 5 hours on normal task .
