If you want a laptop that will play high definition games, then a top notch graphics card and processor are essential. However, do not assume that you will have to pay an arm and leg for it. This might have been the case a few years ago, but not now. These days, it is possible to find what you are looking for at a price that is as low as $800. We are going to show some of the ones that you can pick that are lower than 800 dollars. A majority of people still think that low priced laptops do not have what it takes to play the most recent games that have hit the market. They think that only desktop computers can do this as well as inexpensive laptops. But, there really are no differences, since they contain the same type of processor.
But, it is still hard to find the right gaming laptop, since the selections are vast. Also this process is hard because there are a few things that you should consider when searching for one. The processor should have a minimum of 2GHz or your gaming ability will not have enough power for the most recent HD games that are on the market. You should also strive to get a 320 GB hard drive storage so that you can save the larger games. All in all, we are not going to waste your time by showing you what are considered to be the best and more expensive laptops that are 1000 dollars or more. We are only going to show the less expensive ones. Thus, if you want to find a top laptop for gaming purposes, then you should stick around. Hopefully, you will come across the best and ideal gaming notebook for your particular needs from the following list:

Each of these four gaming laptops has its own unique place, and my recommendation is the Lenovo y510. The Lenovo y510 has the best performance of these four laptops. This laptop features the i7 4700MQ processor and GeForce GT 755M GPU with 2GB DDR5 VRAM. You’ll find most other gaming laptops at this price have the i5 processor and the GPU just with ddr3 VRAM. With GT755M graphic card, you can play most current games (as of 2013) easily and smoothly in high settings. However, its price is just little more than 800$. If you use eCoupon: 7DAYDEALS, you can get it at $809. This is high value performance.
The MSI GP60 has great hard disk performance with rotational speed of 7200RPM, and the Acer Aspire V5-552PG-X809 has a touchscreen, so you’ll have a better experience with Windows 8. But there speces are not great as well as the Lenovo Y510p.

The larger screen is better for gaming, but you may need to sacrifice some portability. Of these four, the Acer Aspire V3-771G-9809 has the best specs. It features i7-3632QM and GT 650M GPU. The MSI GP70 2OD-027US also is a good choice; its 7200RPM hard disk can make your Windows 8 run faster. The graphics card performance are very similar. Current popular games can be played in medium to high settings. If you want a cheaper laptop, choose the Lenovo IdeaPad Z710. Its specs are almost the same as the MSI, but you save $100.
Graphic Card comparison:
From the table, you can see five difference graphic cards in these laptops. They all are DirectX 11 graphics card of the middle class. The GT 755M, 745M is based on the GK107 Kepler chip and manufactured by TSMC in a 28-nanometer process. The Radeon HD 8750M is based on the Mars chip (28nm GCN architecture) They are all with 384 shader cores. Among the options, the Lenovo Y510P’s GeForce GT 755M is best; you can play most current games smoothly in high settings. For the other options, you will get decent performance in medium to high settings.
CPU comparison:
The Intel Core i7-4700MQ is a high-end quad-core processor and the i5-4200M is a middle-class dual-core processor. They are manufactured in 22nm and based on the Haswell architecture.
Compared to Ivy Bridge architecture, the performance per clock of Haswell processor has been improved by about 10%. As a result, the performance of the i5-4200M is similar to the former Ivy Bridge model i5-3340M. The i7-4700MQ’s overall performance is as fast as the Ivy Bridge based Core i7-3740QM.
The AMD A10-5757M is a quad-core processor based on the Richland-architecture. It’s manufactured in 32nm and the performance is similar to the Sandy Bridge Core i3-2330M.
