ASUS officially launches their new mother board: the ROG Rampage IV Black Edition

During the IDF 2013, we could see the new ASUS Rampage IV Black Edition, a black version with some modifications of the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme, the higher-end model of the company’s socket LGA 2011. Based on the Intel X79 chipset, this new version is ready for the newest Ivy Bridge -E processors. Among its main features are the lack of the SB fan, a better, more resistant design, a high-speed 802.11 Wi-Fi card, Radar technologies and a SupremeFX Formula sound card.

It also has 8 DDR3 memory slots capable of housing up to 64 GB each, 4-port PCI- Express 16X 3.0 ports along with two PCI -E x1 ones.

This plate holds the same over clocking capabilities its predecessor had, with digital VRMs with NexFET MOSFE, 60-Amp rectifiers and 10K Japanese capacitors for maximum stability during high over clocking.

You can pre-order it now for 499.99 USD along with the game Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
