Although the company differentiates them in that one is for more “gaming” uses and the other for multimedia purposes, the two new Toshiba laptops really are the same model and only differ in the color of the case and the backlight. Moreover, both the Qosmio X70 and the Satellite P70 share the same characteristics.
They both have a 17.3 inch display with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) with a maximum brightness of 300 nits, thanks to its LED backlight system. They also come with Intel Core i7 Haswell processors with 16 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon R9 M265X graphics card. The sound is Harman-Kardom with DTS and Blu-Ray reader, plus WiFi 802.11ac connectivity.
