Shuttle improves its silent mini PC by adopting the J1900 platform

XS35V4 and XS36V4 are the two new models of Shuttle’s mini PC, with a completely passive cooling system, which allows them to offer a completely silent performance.

These two models improve the benefits given by the previous models belonging to the XS36 and the XS35 family, passing from Intel’s ATOM processors to the new Celeron J1900 with four cores operating at 2GHz (4.4 GHz with turbo Boost) and a manufacturing process of 22 nanometers.

They have also doubled the included RAM memory, passing from 4 Gb to 8 Gb DDR3 SO-DIMM. In both cases its average consumption is of only 8 W.

Fort the rest, we have 3 video outputs, one HDMI, a PortDisplay and a VGA, withstanding the use of two display units at the same time thanks to the Intel iGPU HD. The XS35V4 has dimensions of 25.2 x 16.2 x 3.85 cm, a really compact size which doesn’t lack space to connect a 2.5” hard drive or even a slim type optic unit.

The XS36V4 is even smaller, staying at 20 x 16 x 3.6 cm, but in exchange we lose the space for the optic unit, but to compensate, we get two series ports at the front.

Both are now available on the market for a price of 199 dollars for both models.
