Rumor: Possible benchmarks for the upcoming GeForce GTX 900 Series

There have already been leaks of the supposed first benchmarks of the next generation graphics cards from NVIDIA, the GeForce GTX 900 Series family will count on GTX 980, GTX 970 and the graphics cards for the GeForce GTX 980M and GTX 970M laptops, and given that this is a leak we will treat it as a rumor.

As usual, the leak comes from the usual China’s Chiphell website famous for never respecting the NDAs imposed by the manufacturers. However, this time the information was confirmed by the reliable website VideoCardZ, and it is from there that we will take the data. As can be seen, the flagship of the generation, the GTX 980 is only slightly superior to the GeForce GTX 780 Ti, but it has a good Overclock ability that can later improve further in conjunction with sets of more specific and elaborate drivers.

Here are the filtered graphs:

If these benchmarks were true, we would think that the GTX 980’s are inferior to the GTX 780 Ti, but they are superior with a slight Overclock. The GeForce GTX 970 are superior to the GTX 780, while in the mobile environment, both the GTX 980M and GTX 970M far exceed any other notebook GPU.
