The latest leaks on AMD Radeon R9 380X’s performance arrive from China, performance untied for one of AMD’s new generation graphic cards. Said graphic card is about 58 percent faster than the previous top-of-the-range graphic card from the company (single core), Radeon R9 290X.Radeon R9 380X

Information indicates that Radeon R9 398X has a consumption of 295W (7W more than R9 290X), graphic card that will come with a hybrid refrigeration system (liquid plus air) that will keep the core temperature at a very good 73°C at full capacity.

As for its specifications, it’s expected that Radeon R9 380x will be based on the GCN 1.2 architecture with 4096 Stream Processors united to 4GB of HBM memory that would provide a bandwidth of 640 GB/s, obviously a completely different path than Nvidia’s, which has given priority to low energy consumption as opposed to power. It would be worrying to think that AMD has increased R9 290X’s consumption by 7W, but if we take in account the fact that with this slight increase in consumption its potency is almost 60 percent more elevated, it’s something truly fascinating, and more if we think in 4K resolutions, where pure potency and no low consumption is required.
