MSI has just unveiled the latest addition to its family of notebooks. The GS30 Shadow comes with a 13.3-inch screen, boasts an impressive resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and comes equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor with integrated fourth generation graphics from Intel Iris Pro. It weighs only 1.3 Kg and its 19.8mm thick, so logically this is a laptop made for mobility and not for gaming, and although it is true that it has an integrated graphics and can run some of the latest titles on the market smoothly.

Following are the technical specifications of the laptop: it has a maximum of 16 GB of DDR3L RAM memory at 1600 MHz, two M.2 format SSDs capable of configuring Super Raid. Moreover, as far as connectivity is concerned, it has two USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and a Wi-Fi 802.11ac port. It also incorporates a 720p @ 30 FPS webcam, a backlit keyboard and a 4-cell lithium ion battery. Its adapter is only 65W, and although MSI has not given an estimate of battery life, just seeing these features we can already assume it is one of its strengths.
MSI will launch a docking station specifically designed for the GS30 Shadow Gaming Dock. This accessory allows the installation of a desktop PC graphics card and the laptop benefits from its graphics power. It seems inconvenient to use but it is an interesting novelty.
