MSI launches its WS60 intended for the office

MSI has announced today that it will be releasing a new laptop intended for the workplace: its workstation laptop called WS60. This laptop is the perfect mix of power and portability, since, just as the Stealth series, it only weighs 1.9 kg and is only 19.9 mm thick, which, together with a high quality of materials, allows it to be a very interesting device.

Inside, this laptop has an Intel i7 processor, an NVIDIA Quadro K2100M graphics card, and, surprisingly for a device with these features, a Thunderbolt 2 interface that can be turned into a device suitable for those working in multimedia, and entertainment or design, as well as engineers that need high processing speeds.

Despite having a 15.6-inch-diagonal screen size, its size is similar to the so-called Ultrabooks, but with features worthy of a device with such high perks. Due to this and its Thunderbolt 2 interface, this device has a symmetric 10 Gbps download speed, which, when compared to the standard USB 3.0, it provides four times the speed, allowing it to achieve faster high-definition video downloads.

Storage capabilities were also not forgotten, and this laptop comes SuperRAID technology with 2 SSD  for the operating system and 1 HDD for data storage. Remember that using the RAID configuration will allow reading/writing speeds to easily get to 1000 MB/s, which is a performance bonus.

Something we cannot forget to mention is its screen, which comes with a 3K (2880 x 1620) resolution, which is generally reserved for previous gaming devices. We don’t expect this device to be inexpensive but we are certain that this is an attractive option if your job requires you to use a device with high features and mobility.
