Lenovo sells the Flex 3 convertibles starting at $399

Lenovo Flex 3 is the Chinese’s’ firm basic convertible series whose last update was presented at the CES 2015. It is now available in three versions starting at $399.

Lenovo keeps the basic design and conception of its classic convertibles with this Flex 3. Although, it sports a new hinges system that allows it to rotate the screen 360 degrees, facilitating the transition from laptop to tablet or the switching to “tent” mode for presentations.

The first of the Flex 3 models is a touchscreen with 10 simultaneous contact points, 11 inch in diagonal and HD resolution, Intel Pentium processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 1 TB hard drive. With Windows 8.1 pre-installed it come for $399, the cheapest of the convertible Lenovo series.

The intermediate model increases in size and resolution, having an up to 14 inches multi touch screen with an IPS FULLD HD option. It sports fifth generation Intel Broadwell Core i3 or Core i5 processors, with 4 or 8 GB of RAM and a hard drive of 500 GB or 1TB. Its price is $579.

The third of the Flex 3 is the biggest in size, measuring 15.6 inches. The specs are quite similar to the previous model, with LCD or IPS panels, HD or FHD resolution with multi touch screen and 10 simultaneous contact points. Also, with Broadwell processor (Core i3 or Core i5) and hard drives or hybrid SSHD storage solutions. It is available from $599 and comes with Windows 8.1 preinstalled.

They all come with Wi-Fi ac and Bluetooth, 2.0 and 3.0 USB ports, Ethernet, webcam, stereo speaker, HDMI output, memory card reader and hours or more battery autonomy, all this according to the manufacturer.

They are not the Yoga Pro premium models but this Flex 3 have improved in design and hardware, and offer access to the attractive convertibles for a price of $399.
