Lenovo has announced today two new additions to their Think product line, both focused on the professional user. The ThinkPad 10, a multi-use 10-inch tablet, which offers a full experience as if we were using a PC. The ThinkStation P300, which is a redesigned workstation, has the latest advances in user-friendliness and reliability for a reasonable price.

We started this discussion with the Lenovo ThinkPad 10, which is updated for professionals that need the latest in flexibility and connectivity. It was built with high quality aluminum and has a full HD 10 inch screen, which is protected by the famous Gorilla Glass, which makes it extremely durable and simultaneously very lightweight despite its 10-inch size. It is capable of working in four different modes to give the user flexibility: Tablet, Stand, Portable, and Desktop. When it is connected to the optional ThinkPad Tablet Dock accessory, or to a USB 3.0 docking station, users prefer to connect the ThinkPad 10 to an external monitor, mouse, and keyboard, so that it can be used as a typical desktop.

In terms of workstations, the Lenovo ThinkStation P300 has been redesigned to adapt to the needs of its users. It is equipped with fourth generation Intel Xeon E3-1200v3 or Intel Haswell processors, so that professional users are not compromised in its capabilities under any circumstance. It also has a RAM ECC memory. Additionally, in can be equipped with the new model of the FLEX module, which allows users to add any necessary modules. FLEX supports a mix between the optical slim, 29-in-1 card reader, IEEE 1394 Firewire and eSATA.

The new Lenovo ThinkPad 10 will become available at the beginning of June at a Market Suggested Retail Price of %599, while the Lenovo ThinkStation P300 will cost $729 and will become available in June, both in the normal format or in the mATX format.
