Is the E3 a place for PC?

That is the question that we can ask ourselves after Phil Spencer’s declaration, leader of the Xbox division on Microsoft. He told Polygon in one of the declarations that have echoed that he couldn’t think that videogames had ever been more alive in Windows than with their franchises, like League of Legends or World of Tanks, but they however come short when compared to Xbox console in term of users and profitability.

Also, he points out that the E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is a “show for consoles”, and that he doesn’t feel it is the best place to talk about Windows, even if the operative system continues to be a key piece inside Microsoft’s videogames selection. Despite everything, Phil Spencer insists that the E3 is an event to let Xbox and not Windows, shine.

Are we before the fall of the PC as a gaming platform? Many analyst have pointed out that it is so, however, the good form of platforms like Steam appear to point in a different direction, even if it is undeniable that the videogames market for PC is completely conditioned to that of the consoles, where multiplatform releases are now the norm.
