HP Stream 14 is one of the models of the most economic series of the manufacturer, with a 14 inch screen, an AMD APU with Radeon graphics, Windos 8.1 and a contained price as is the norm of the series.

We had already told you how Microsoft is subsidizing Windows to OEM manufacturers in a clear attempt to halt the rising quota in the market of the Chromebooks. As a result, the HP Stream 11 has arrived, offering a basic laptop with Windows for just $200.

Now, HP is increasing the size of the screen and the specifications with a model that uses the AMD’s A4 6400T APU with a micro quad core and an integrated Radeon R3 graphics card. Also increased the screen from 11 to 14 inches, with an LCD panel with WLED backlit with a native HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

It’s weight increases to 1.75 kg but is inviting to some users that are in search of a bigger screen. Also includes 2Gb of RAM and 32 GB flash storage powered by the microSD card support and 100 Gb of OneDrive could storage for 2 years, and 25 Gb for life.

It has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, 3.0 and 2.0 USB ports, HDMI input, HD webcam and a sound system powered by beats and 4 speakers.

No, it is not as impressive as the HP ELiteBook Folio 1020 or the basic professional HP 250 laptop, but this HP Stream 14 with Windows 8.1 and for a 290 dollars price is a good example of a cheap laptop that offers more than a netbook.
