DirectX 12 could be exclusive to the new Windows

According to new information DirectX 12 could be exclusive to the new Microsoft Operating System, under the name of Windows 9.

This new version of the well-known Microsoft API caused great expectations since its first presentation in March of this year, where it was showcased its important updates that will make better use of the computer’s resources.

It was exposed that both modest computers and multicore systems will benefit from this important performance improvement when using DirectX 12, which will also affect Xbox One.

For many, DirectX 12 has been Microsoft’s response to AMD’s Mantle, but unlike Mantle, the new API of the Redmond giant will only be 100% compatible with Windows 9, which leaves out Windows 7 and Windows 8.

At this time, we cannot confirm this information, but the truth is that it makes sense, since it could be the motivation some users need to use their Operating Systems.
