ASUS has presented a small mini PC with dedicated graphics in a truly compact and completely silent format.

The newest member of ASUS Eee Series, one that began with the first EeePC Netbooks, comes in the form of mini PC, a small computer with everything you need to start using it right away.

If features an I219 x 172.5 x 29 mm processor, with 4 cores running at 2.42 GHz and support for up to 8GB of DDR3 memory. What’s more, the EB1037 features an Nvidia GeForce GT 820M with 512 MB graphics card, -not a high-end GPU, but still enough for most multimedia solutions, and why not, even some games.

For storage we can choose from a 128 GB SSD or a 1TB mechanical hard drive. All of this contained inside a small case (219 x 172.5 x 29 mm) and with a completely passive cooling system: it does not have any fan inside thanks to the low power-consuming components.

It also features 4 USB ports (two USB 3.0), multi-format card reader, Gigabit Ethernet card, high-speed Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and VGA and HDMI ports. It comes with Windows 8.1.

Can we get hold of this Eee Box EB1037 ASUS for a price of 299 Dollars in its most basic configuration without an operating system. It’s perfect for those looking for a a little media center for the living room or an affordable and quiet computer, which could come in handy in environments such as libraries, shops or classrooms.

It will hit the market on February.
