Acer has launched its new 27 in S277HK monitor, the world’s first wit 4K2K resolution and features HDMI 2.0 interface.(What’s new ofHDMI 2.0?) The S277HK Acer presumes to join aesthetics and great presentations for a quality audiovisual experience, with Ultra HD images in a frameless screen al almost without edges, HDMI 2.0 support and DTS sound speakers.

Its matrix features IPS technology and Acer’s ColorPlus, providing an exceptional color saturation, chromatic stability and up to 178 degrees of horizontal and vertical view. HDMI 2.0 connectivity increases video bandwidth which is capable to take the monitor up tu 18 GB/s, so that it can transfer 4K content at 60 Hz smoothly and with only one cable, providing a fluid display seamlessly.

After seeing the image above you may have noticed that Acer has designed the base in an unconventional way. It’s made of aluminum in an asymmetric stance, thin and solid, in order to differentiate from other monitors in the market. The central silver frame adds a touch of elegance, but don’t let yourselves be fooled, because we had already told you that it hides in its panel a 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and a pair of DTs speakers.

By the way, besides HDMI 2.0, the S277HK Acer embodies a DVI port, a DisplayPort 1.2 and a mini Display Port. It will be able since January of the following year.
